Up until we start watching, Truman Burbank has been living his entire life in the idyllic island town of Seahaven, where the weather is always perfect and nothing bad ever happens. The island setting makes it ideal for keeping Truman contained — and of course, it's actually housed inside a giant TV studio.The fictional town was largely filmed in the real master-planned community of Seaside, Florida, where the weather is definitely not always perfect.Source
