Where does Mork & Mindy take place?

Star Wars inspired a litany of sci-fi-themed TV shows and episodes in the late ’70s and early ’80s. Even Happy Days got in on the fun, when "My Favorite Orkan" aired in February of 1978.
In the episode, an alien visitor inexplicably shows up named Mork (from Ork), and wants to take Richie back with him as a "specimen." The Fonz defends Richie through a battle of supernatural powers. In the end, of course, it was all a dream.
Except then (retroactively) it wasn't a dream, it was Mork making the whole thing SEEM like a dream. And we wonder where Christopher Nolan got the idea for Inception...
This all paves the way for Robin Williams to break out and for Mork & Mindy to become a successful spinoff sitcom. But where did it take place?
