The answer is: George Lazenby. George Lazenby’s career as James Bond only lasted for one film: 1969's On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. He’s technically tied with David Niven who played James Bond in the 1967 Casino Royale, although that’s not considered an official Bond movie since it wasn’t produced by EON Productions and is satirical. Roger Moore holds the record for most appearances as James Bond at seven. Sean Connery also has seven appearances, but Never Say Never Again is considered a "rogue" Bond film.Source
