Which band featuring Rod Stewart was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?

Rod Stewart's solo career gave us "Maggie May," "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy," and a voice you can recognize from three rooms away. He was deservedly inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for his solo work back in 1994, and he made it in a second time when the rock band he was part of was inducted in 2012. Which band featuring Rod Stewart was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?

Correct Answer: Faces
(Source)Rarely does an artist go solo and mellow out (and saying Rod Stewart mellowed out is a bit generous, if I'm being honest), but the Faces are remembered just as much for their performances as their talent. Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood had joined the remaining Small Faces in 1969 after the Jeff Beck Group broke up, and the band dropped "Small" from the name because those two were too tall (yes, really). Stewart was supposed to join his bandmates at the 2012 induction and perform, but strep throat kept him home. Stewart, Wood, and Kenney Jones finally got back together in 2015, and critics agreed it was worth the wait, even if the performance didn't have its '70s-era whiskey haze.
