Completely disguised behind a fake mustache and cowboy hat, it's almost impossible to recognize Tom Cruise as he's unceremoniously blown off his horse by a hail of gunfire. But Tom Cruise was visiting his fellow Brat Pack members, Emilio Estevez and Kiefer Sutherland, when director Christopher Cain had the brilliant idea. Cruise had played a chaotic high school senior, a bartender, and a navy aviator, but he had yet to play a cowboy and thought it would be a fun way to spend the afternoon. So, they put him in a costume and sent him out to get gunned down by Casey Siemaszko. The entire appearance lasts maybe five seconds, and Cruise doesn't say a single word before catching a bullet and tumbling off his horse. It's the kind of ridiculous favor only friends in Hollywood would do for each other.
