The villain was brought to life by voice actor Alan Oppenheimer who was doing double, no, triple, no, infinite overtime as the voices of Man-at-Arms, Cringer, Mer-Man, and a bunch of other characters. Oppenheimer would have entire recording sessions where he was just talking to himself, switching between characters in conversation like an absolute pro. His signature cackle for Skeletor became one of the most memorable villain laughs in cartoon history.
