Instead of an Amazon warrior princess with super strength, we got a blonde government agent in what looked like jazzy workout wear doing karate chops. The whole thing flopped, and a year later we were rewarded with Lynda Carter's portrayal. Decades later, DC Comics actually made Crosby's bizarre version official by sticking her Wonder Woman on Earth-462 in their multiverse.
