Alan Osmond, born in 1949, was the original leader and the first frontman of The Osmonds. While his younger brother Donny later stole the spotlight, Alan was the group's guitarist, choreographer and arranged many of their early barbershop quartet performances at Disneyland where Walt Disney himself discovered them in 1961.
