Who was the voice behind Jessica Rabbit?

"Who Framed Roger Rabbit" gave us memorable moments, but none quite like Jessica Rabbit sauntering onto the screen at the Ink and Paint Club. The animators had created the most seductive animated character ever drawn, but she needed someone who could purr lines like "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way" and make audiences forget they were watching a cartoon married to a stuttering rabbit. Who was the voice behind Jessica Rabbit?
▼
Correct Answer: Kathleen Turner
(Source)Kathleen Turner provided the speaking voice for Jessica Rabbit, though you wouldn't have known that if you stayed to watch the credits roll in theaters. Turner felt like the movie was destined to flop and didn't want it to damage her career, but considered it a favor to director Robert Zemeckis, who had worked with her previously on "Romancing the Stone." Meanwhile, Amy Irving got to sing Jessica's big musical number and actually got her name in the credits. The movie was actually a massive hit and once word got out that Turner provided the voice, fans were quick to start asking her to sign cartoon rabbits instead of her headshots.
