We've all been there — enjoying a nice sunny day in the park, perhaps a bit of reading or a little exercise, when something catches your eye.
Is it a group of friends playing a light game of touch football? Perhaps throwing a frisbee back and forth? Maybe even some kickball?
Nope, it's a bunch of nerds with brooms. Then it hits you: they're pretending that Quidditch is real life. And then you think: How do I sign up?
It's not often that a completely fictional sport can make a transition into (so-called) reality, but hell, Quidditch pulled it off. But it wouldn't have garnered nearly so much interest if a little orphan named Harry Potter hadn't first picked up a broom and hit the pitch.
Like anything in the Wizarding World, this sport has lots of fun little names for the players and their positions. What position does Harry play?

The answer is: Seeker. Played with two teams of seven, Quidditch splits the teams up with three Chasers, two Beaters, one Keeper, and one Seeker, which is Harry’s role. The Seeker is given the ridiculous goal of flying around on a broom trying to grab the Golden Snitch — a ball about the size of a walnut designed to run away from anyone chasing it. Worst of all is that the game CAN'T END until the Snitch is caught, leading to one match lasting three months! Imagine trying to sit through that game without a bathroom break.Source
