
What song was almost used instead of “Eye of the Tiger” for Rocky III?

When I was in college I had a very difficult professor who would do pushups in class and was in general just very scary to me. The one and only thing that got me through that class was pumping myself up for the final exam by putting on 1982's Rocky III and watching the training montage with "Eye of the Tiger" playing.
Frankly, not only can I not imagine getting through college without this song, I can't imagine getting through life without it.
Yet if director/star Sylvester Stallone had gotten his way, it would have been an entirely different song used in the film. What song was it?

The answer is: Another One Bites the Dust. Sylvester Stallone not only starred in Rocky III but also was the film’s director. He used Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust” with a video montage while planning the movie, but Queen wouldn’t give permission to use the song. Stallone then approached Survivor to write the unforgettable Rocky III theme. Source
