What were the first words ever said in a non-silent film?

Depending on what movie I'm watching, there are times I wish they would have stayed silent forever.
But alas, there's no stopping technological progress, especially when it comes to the movies. Ever since the first Kinetoscope parlor opened in 1894, it's been nothing but technological breakthroughs.
The ability to sync sound with film may have been the biggest innovation since moving pictures themselves, so much so that you might just remember the first words ever spoken in a so-called talkie. What were they?

Correct Answer: "Wait a minute ... you ain't heard nothin' yet"
The answer is: Wait a minute ... you ain't heard nothin' yet. We’re coming up on 100 years of “talkies” and the very first words we heard really set the stage for movies going forward. I mean, we couldn’t write it better ourselves! Those first few words were uttered by Al Jolson in 1927's The Jazz Singer. Granted, this was still before we could do more than a few scenes at a time with matching audio, but you can bet it blew the stockings off everyone in the theater.Source
