What's the name of the island where King Kong lives?

I get that King Kong is overall just kind of a misunderstood dude, but I still don’t see why that means the people who live nearby don’t just leave. Call me crazy, but if I saw a giant gorilla-like beast snapping the necks of T-Rexes, I’d consider hopping on Zillow and seeing where else I could afford to live.
The original King Kong opened in 1933, and a big part of the allure came in the form of the mysterious island where all sorts of ancient and strange creatures lurk. Other than the fact they built a big wall at some point, we never do find out much more about the natives or why they don’t just up and get the hell out of there.
But throughout all the reboots and countless additional material produced since, we’ve actually come to learn a lot more about where Kong resides. What’s the name of his island?

Correct Answer: Skull Island
The answer is: Skull Island. In the original King Kong movies, the name of the island is never actually said. “Skull Mountain” is mentioned, but the island itself is never named. It wasn’t until the remakes of the 1970s that Skull Island started to be mentioned as the name of Kong’s home, which was then fully embraced in Peter Jackson’s 2005 remake and the modern-day MonsterVerse.Source
