Also known as Rockman in Japan, Mega Man first came on the scene in 1987 for the NES in all of its multi-power glory.
About 7,000 or so sequels later, Dr. Wily is still finding robots with very specific abilities that he can turn into killing machines to get back at his old nemesis, Dr. Light. Only Mega Man, the man willing to become part robot, can save Monsteropolis ... again.

The answer is: Cyber Man. Technically called "Robot Masters", there was indeed a Guts Man and Elec Man in the first Mega Man game on the NES (for the latter, I'm guessing just a character limit issue...?).But there was no Cyber Man, and there still isn't — outside of a fan game, so hey, at least someone else sees the potential.Source
