What is the only planet in our solar system that rotates clockwise?
We need to talk about some problematic planets in our solar system. We all agreed to rotate counterclockwise around the sun 4 billion years ago, but SOME of us just had to be contrarian.
Despite what Superman may have taught us, rotating a planet in the opposite direction does not, in fact, reverse time, so don’t get any bright ideas. Besides the fact that, you know, we can’t actually live on any other planets just yet, the best you could hope for is getting dizzy.
Listen up, NASA, because we need to launch some sort of rocket to fix this problem or my OCD will never be satisfied. Which of our solar system’s planets is the only to rotate clockwise?

The answer is: Venus. There always has to be one oddball in the group doing its own thing, and in our solar system, that’s Venus. While Earth and all the other planets agreed to spin counterclockwise (except Uranus which spins vertically) Venus goes clockwise. Astronomers think this was caused by the planet getting hit by something while being formed, but I say it’s because it just wants attention.Source
