The answer is: Reservoir Dogs. The budget for Quentin Tarantino’s 1992 breakthrough Reservoir Dogs was so tight that actors were encouraged to wear items from their own wardrobes as costumes. Steve Buscemi wore his black jeans and Chris Penn’s tracksuit was from his personal collection. Harvey Keitel’s suit was a gift from French designer Agnès B and the rest of the suits were gifted by the film’s costume designer.Source
