Which actress played the first Bond girl in the James Bond movies?

When "Dr. No" hit theaters in 1962, it launched one of cinema's most enduring franchises and established the template for James Bond films: exotic locations, elaborate action sequences, and the iconic Bond girl. While dozens of actresses have played the role over six decades, only one can claim the title of being first. Who was the original Bond girl?

Ursula Andress made movie history as Honey Ryder in "Dr. No," emerging from the Caribbean Sea in that famous white bikini while Sean Connery's James Bond watched from the beach. Even though Andress's dialogue was famously dubbed due to her thick Swiss accent, her visual impact was undeniable and earned her a Golden Globe. The Bond franchise would go on to pay homage to her in 2002's "Die Another Day," while she went on to costar in the 1967's James Bond parody, "Casino Royale."
