One of my favorite things to do is go to a party and tell everyone about all the early bands famous musicians used to be in. Not only does it make me sound cool, it annoys the crap out of people so much that they stop inviting me to their parties, in which case I don't have to deal with other humans anymore.
Among bands that launched the careers of rock and roll stars, the Yardbirds are among the most mythical of groups. Forming in England in the early 1960s, they pushed the entire genre forward, bringing innovation to electric guitars and helping to invent psychedelic rock.
While it's true the band featured several future megastars, one of these names does not belong on the list. Who is it?

Correct Answer: Brian Jones
The answer is: Brian Jones. The Yardbirds had an absolutely bonkers lineup, launching the careers of three of the most famous guitarists in rock history — but Brian Jones was not among them. He was too busy putting the Rolling Stones together, before being removed from the band due to drug and alcohol abuse and tragically drowning at his home in 1969.Source
