Actress Marla Gibbs (1931) wisecracked her way to five Emmy nominations as Florence on "The Jeffersons" and later headlined "227" as Mary Jenkins. She's a seven-time NAACP Image Award winner with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and she's still working at 94 on "Will Trent" and "Chicago Med."
Singer-keyboardist Rod Argent (1945) co-founded The Zombies and wrote "She's Not There" and "Time of the Season." He later led the group Argent on "Hold Your Head Up," landed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, and hung up touring in 2024 after a stroke.
Singer Boy George (1961) fronted Culture Club through the '80s and topped charts with "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" and "Karma Chameleon." He's still touring with the band, and he's the subject of the 2026 documentary "Boy George & Culture Club."
Actor Kevin McHale (1988) sang in the boy band NLT before he broke out as Artie Abrams on "Glee." That role nabbed a Grammy nomination and a Screen Actors Guild ensemble win, and these days he rewatches the show for laughs on his podcast "And That's What You Really Missed."
Actor Daryl Sabara (1992) shot to fame as Juni Cortez in the "Spy Kids" movies. He grew up to voice Hero Boy in "The Polar Express" and the title hero on "Generator Rex," and he's married to Meghan Trainor.
