Actress Frances McDormand (1957) took home the first of her four Oscars as Marge Gunderson in "Fargo" and grabbed Best Actress again for "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" and "Nomadland." She rounded out the Triple Crown of Acting with an Emmy for "Olive Kitteridge" and a Tony for "Good People."

Writer-director Joss Whedon (1964) dreamed up "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Firefly." He went on to write and direct Marvel's "The Avengers," which raked in more than $1.5 billion worldwide.
