What is the name of the cul-de-sac where "Knots Landing" takes place?

"Dallas" might have kicked off the prime-time soap opera craze of the late '70s and early '80s, but its little sibling, "Knots Landing," became the era's real winner. Running for 14 seasons, "Knots Landing" tackled middle-class problems of a small California neighborhood while leaving the glitz and glamour to other TV shows. What's the name of the cul-de-sac where "Knots Landing" takes place?

Correct Answer: Seaview Circle
(Source)Gary and Valene Ewing had enough of all the drama that came with the Ewing oil empire and settled into life on Seaview Circle, which didn't really solve anything because the gossip was just as intense and arguably lasted even longer. And even more ironic was the fact that their attempt to escape the fake world of the rich landed them in a literally fake suburb. Their cul-de-sac may have been called Seaview Circle, but it didn't actually have a view of the sea. Those aerial shots of beach waves in the opening were filmed 20 miles from the houses used for filming (and technically those beach shots are of an ocean, not a sea). But hey, a little TV editing magic never hurt anyone, and for 344 episodes no one in the audience even questioned it.
