Which of these shows didn't start airing in black and white?

In the mid-1960s, networks were still trying to figure out how to handle the transition to color broadcasting at a time when most American families still had black and white screens. The transition was expensive, so old shows delayed the switch and new shows held off with plans to upgrade later if they became hits. Others decided to bet big on the future of television right from the start. Which of these shows didn't start airing in black and white?

Correct Answer: Star Trek
(Source)NBC was an early pioneer in color broadcasting, and its new peacock logo was meant to showcase that. The broadcaster was also owned by TV manufacturer RCA, who was looking for ways to sell more of its shiny new color TVs. So when planning for "Star Trek," the studio wanted to make sure the Enterprise and its crew were bright and poppy. It gave a whole new meaning to the show's signature "to boldly go where no man has gone before." Unfortunately for cinematographer Jerry Finnerman, the majority of households didn't enjoy his creative direction as it would take close to another decade before color TVs became more popular than the black and white standard.
