Singer Gloria Gaynor (1943) broke big with "Never Can Say Goodbye," then watched "I Will Survive" get buried on the B-side of "Substitute" and claw its way to the only Grammy ever handed out for Best Disco Recording. She took home a second one decades later for the gospel album "Testimony," and she's the subject of the documentary "Gloria Gaynor: I Will Survive."
Actor Corbin Bernsen (1954) picked up Emmy and Golden Globe nominations as smooth divorce lawyer Arnie Becker on "L.A. Law," then ducked ground balls to protect his endorsement deals as third baseman Roger Dorn in "Major League." He played Henry Spencer on "Psych" and he's since turned up on "Your Friends & Neighbors" and "Duster."
Comedian-actress Leslie Jones (1967) joined "Saturday Night Live" as a writer and became the oldest person ever hired onto the cast at 47, then went ghost hunting as Patty Tolan in "Ghostbusters." She turned up in "Coming 2 America," played Spanish Jackie on "Our Flag Means Death," and wrote the memoir "Leslie F*cking Jones."
Actress Shannon Elizabeth (1973) landed Nadia in "American Pie" and followed it with "Scary Movie" and "Love Actually." She's played the World Series of Poker circuit, and a blind rhino named Munu inspired the Khusela wildlife sanctuary she now runs through the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation in South Africa.
Actor Devon Sawa (1978) grew up on screen in "Casper" and "Now and Then," then got himself thrown off Flight 180 as Alex Browning in "Final Destination." He's played multiple characters on "Chucky" and he's recently shown up in "Heart Eyes" and on "Twisted Metal."
Actress Evan Rachel Wood (1987) was 16 when "Thirteen" got her a Golden Globe nomination, and she went on to carry "Westworld" as Dolores Abernathy. She played Madonna in "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story" and she's on "The Shards" over on FX now.
